...Snow this evening and a wintery mix after midnight could
produce hazardous travel conditions...

Travelers should use extra caution and allow for greater travel
times early this evening as a light dusting of snow moves across
the area and creates slippery conditions.

After a break in activity later this evening, a wintery mix of
rain, freezing rain, snow, and sleet could produce additional
travel hazards, mainly after midnight.

Significant accumulations of snow and ice are not expected
tonight. Even so, the ground temperature in many locations is
still well below freezing after the recent period of very cold
weather. Rain and sleet after midnight could produce freezing on
road surfaces, along with areas of hazardous travel.

By dawn tomorrow morning, air temperatures should be warm enough
to support mainly rain, but the ground may still be frozen in some
locations during the morning commute.
