THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME COULD PRODUCE:
HEAVY RAIN.
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
HAIL UP TO AROUND THE SIZE OF A PENNY.
AND LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS UP TO 50 MPH.

AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

ISOLATE THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON OVER
FAR NORTHERN ILLINOIS...MAINLY NORTH OF INTERSTATES 88 AND 290.
THE THREAT OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL SPREAD SOUTH ACROSS
THE OUTLOOK AREA THIS EVENING ENDING SOUTH OF THE KANKAKEE
RIVER BY SHORTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT.

DISCUSSION:

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION THIS EVENING PRODUCING
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. CONDITIONS ARE
NOT FORECAST TO BE PARTICULARLY FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE
WEATHER...HOWEVER A COUPLE ISOLATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS COULD
DEVELOP WITH GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
