Short Term Weather 23:49:02.8488458

.NOW...

AREAS OF FOG HAVE BEGUN TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE AREA TONIGHT DUE TO
PRIMARILY CLEAR SKIES AND DAMP GROUND. WHILE VISIBILITIES HAVE
REMAINED ABOVE 5 MILES FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE AREA...PATCHY
DENSE FOG WITH VISIBILITIES LESS THAN A HALF MILE ARE POSSIBLE
ESPECIALLY FOR AREAS IN ILLINOIS NORTH OF JOLIET AND WEST OF COOK
COUNTY. THE AREAS OF FOG AND PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL BEGIN TO
DISSIPATE LATER TONIGHT AS UPPER LEVEL CLOUDS MOVE IN AND THICKEN AHEAD
OF THE APPROACHING COLD FRONT. THE CLOUD COVER WILL LIMIT
RADIATIONAL COOLING AND THEREFORE LIMIT FURTHER FOG DEVELOPMENT.
